We are different. We don't use willpower. Instead, we anchor ⚓our habits on our values to make them stick using the STORYHabit Method.

Make a lasting habit change, at just 50 cents a day.

Why anti-willpower habit change?

Bad habits get in the way of leadership success. Imposter syndrome, avoiding difficult conversations, or overcommitting to projects are only some of these bad habits. Habit change is hard. Using willpower doesn't work. This workshop offers a fresh approach by using a different anchor.

What is this anchor?

⚓Our values.

Values are the stories that shape how we see the world. They’re woven into our identity—loyalty, compassion, persistence, family, teamwork. Whatever your values are, they’re your unshakable bedrock. And when you anchor new habits to them, those habits don’t just stick—they feel natural, effortless even.

Take my dessert dilemma. I wanted to cut back on sweets, but my willpower wasn’t up for the job. Instead, I leaned into one of my core values: frugality (thanks, Dad). Now, I only allow myself to eat expensive desserts. Suddenly, that $10 slice of cake doesn’t look so tempting. Cringe-worthy price tags did what willpower couldn’t—I anchored my new habit to my value of watching every penny, and it worked like magic.

But don’t just take my word for it. Here are Real Stories from Our Community

  • Heather used to feel crushed by impostor syndrome every time she stepped into the spotlight. During the workshop, we discovered one of her core values: Service to Others. We anchored her new habit to this value, and now, whenever Heather is in the spotlight, she reminds herself, “All the little girls are watching.” This simple shift changed everything—executive presence is no longer about her, but about serving others. With her new mantra, Heather is owning the room with purpose and confidence.
  • Amy had a different struggle—she couldn’t say no to her boss, which led to overcommitting on projects and creating chaos down the road. Through the workshop, we uncovered her core value: Kindness. Amy reframed her thinking and realized that saying yes now often means delivering a no later in the form of missed deadlines. Now, she honors her value of kindness by providing a clear no upfront, sparing her boss from future emergencies. Amy has anchored her habit of setting boundaries to her value of kindness, and it’s transformed her work life.

These are just two examples of how anchoring habits to values can lead to effortless, lasting change. What could you anchor your habits to?
